Support 515ubs~ To Sub More Shows

515ubs is a non-profit fan community composed of a group of Sunshiners/Sones who gather to create a subbing team for SNSD Sunny's shows.

It has been a while since the last time Sunny's shows--whether in variety, radio or other activities she participated in--were being translated to English and other languages non-Korean fans can understand. While most of us have gotten used to watching her shows un-subbed, it would surely have been more enjoyable and relatable if we had the grasp of their conversations.

For this reason, this community was created, though is still very much a work in progress.

We are not professional subbers/timers. Out of our love and dedication to Sunny, we take and spend a little time out of our busy personal lives to sub her shows so that we, international Sunshiners/Sones/casual fans, will be able to enjoy them, and most importantly, see how great of a person Sunny is.

We hire and pay a non-fan translator to do Korean to English translations for each episode/show. Doing so is the only option we have at the moment due to non-availability of a volunteer Kor-Eng translator.

Once translated to English, the show might also be translated to other languages such as Thai and Indonesian (as of the moment), all for FREE and made ACCESSIBLE to everyone.

The 515ubs community does this voluntarily, without a profit, and in our own pace, since we all do have our personal life situations we need to attend to on a daily basis, so we cannot guarantee to deliver fast output. We hope for your patience and understanding.

As mentioned above, since we are only depending on a hired Kor-Eng translator, we cannot afford to fund all its costs as we go along with the rest of the episodes and other shows. We have already funded the first episode of one of Sunny's programs, but support from other fans will greatly help us to continue on this project.

For transparency, a list of donors will be posted and updated regularly. Payments for hired translator and other costs where the donations are used will also be made available to the public if deemed necessary.
